Hi, I’m Judit
I believe in this simple recipe: the quality of our relationships impacts our happiness and self worth. Us, humans, have an innate need for connection and belonging. My main focus is to help those who face ongoing relational issues and those who deal with the aftermath of trauma.
My Europian cultural and academic background combined with my trainings and education in California has helped me think outside the box, bring a fresh approach to my work and taught me humbleness.
I have over 8 years of experience in working in public mental health where I have collaboratively worked with people struggling with PTSD, co-occurring mental disorders, personality disorders, anxiety, depression, major changes, losses and relational issues. I have been providing support to couples who are wanting to reconnect and those who want to create a drama-free separation.
I am a fierce supporter of families and I have over 8 years of experience as a Court Appointed Special Advocate with the county of Marin supporting children and their Caregivers to regain strength.
I am not just a Therapist, but a Mother, a Partner, an Ally and an Advocate.
What to expect in therapy:
A warm welcome, a down to earth approach, connection and compassion. As a Psychodynamic, Trauma Focused practicioner I will help explore the ways you relate to others and the meanings you make of your life experiences. Most importantly: you will be able to tap into your inner strength and let go of those emotional shackles. Your past does not define you!
Additional modalities I incorporate into my practice: Gestalt therapy, Dialectical Behavioral therapy, Systems Family therapy, Emotion Focused therapy.
I am so excited to meet you and support you through journey!
